Great balcony with view is best feature and town location. Room small and cramped, but comfortable for sleep time. Bath new and ample with great shower. Biggest negative is weak WiFi. Overall, I would book again.

We stayed in Casa Rosa with a lovely terrace overlooking lake Como. The view was breath taking. They offer a free European breakfast, which was lovely.

This property is overlooking Lake Como, a gorgeous, romantic place. The restaurant is excellent with a terrace with a knockout view. If we had been younger and not hampered in climbing or walking on uneven surfaces and horrific stairs, it would have been perfect. Thankfully their staff helped us, even though the literature advised that they would not be able to do that. We arranged a driver to take us there, but she left before we had the suitcases to our room, so the staff helped us to the annex. The room was fine but very small—but had a balcony with a great view.

Great location. Nice staff. Was not happy when we got to the hotel early, had us put our bags in the office then suddenly I am told that our room is ready early but we would have to pay $40. Did it but very turned off.

Had dinner and a free breakfast at the hotel dining balcony. Was beautiful and delicious! Hotel manager went above and beyond to help us! The only negative thing was that the room upstairs and downstairs only had a small floor fan that hardly worked. It was very hot until a storm blew through and the wind gave us a breeze.

The ac system is set up not to turn on in the autumn. They expect you to open the windows. While I like the concept, outside noise and lights from a congested, tourist area and delivery/garbage pickup trucks kept us from getting a good night’s rest. The property is located on a cliff with no parking in the building. Be prepared to walk with your luggage up and down steep steps in all kinds of weather. No elevator or porter. Be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs inside too. And breakfast doesn’t start until 8 am. While the view of the lake was beautiful, we were too exhausted to enjoy it. I can tell the staff are weary from dealing with guest issues.

The location was exceptional but no parking nearby. Had to park over a quarter mile away and pay almost 30.00. The apt was not anything like the pictures on the . No lake view, balcony or ac. The apt looked old and the furniture as well. Beds were ok and extra pillows great. Great thing was the restaurant as well as the included breakfast! That was fantastic.

Partial view rooms not so good, and walls are thin

A great location, and endorsed/promoted by Rick Steves. I am sure that if you paid the extra $$$ for the lake side rooms it was a better experience. But the 'partial view' rooms are on the back of the building, and over a pedestrian walkway that can be very noisy. There are a lot of street lights back there and the curtains are pretty flimsy so you are lit up all night. But the worst part of the experience was the thin walls between rooms. My neighbor was a family with a toddler and they stayed up until 2AM talking, clunking around etc. No one is onsite at night so couldn't alert the manager. Not a good night for a light sleeper. Plenty of problems with wifi, and be aware that offseason the restaurant isn't open.

Wunderbarer Blick auf den See. Schönstes Dorf am Comersee. Zuvorkommendes Personal. Wissenswertes: Parkplatz liegt aufgrund engen Verhältnissen im Dorf ein paar Fussminuten entfernt. Unser Zimmer lag ein paar Gassen weiter vom Hotelgebäude entfernt. Enge Verhältnisse am Frühstücksbuffet. Dies hat uns alles nicht gestört und wir würden die Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen.
