"Our stay at Hotel Macao was wonderful! Its location is very near the town plaza yet away from bars and restaurants making it very quiet. Great views of the town center from the top floor hallway. But most importantly, we loved our stay because of the hotel owners - the couple that runs this hotel and their staff are some of the nicest and kindest people we have met during our travels anywhere. Breakfast is good too. Good water pressure and comfortable bed."

"It was fine for a few nights, but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend.
Cons: It was SO loud with trucks and motorcycles going by all day and night. I wore earplugs and still couldn’t sleep. This is a common in jardín, so I’d recommend looking for a hotel on the edge of town if you want to sleep. Also service could have been better. No one was there when I arrived at 1pm, which may be been Expedia’s fault, and no one ever responded to my messages. Owners don’t seem to be around often if you need...
