"The EH is a fantastic value. Room was excellent- very clean, air cond was great, hot shower. The facilities - restaurant, gym, store in premises at Lee great. The best part, this hotel is smack in the middle of everything without the busy aspect found across most places in Kampala. If I go to Kampala again, definitely will stay there."

"Nice hotel if you want a hotel with a garden feeling. Enjoy breakfast in the garden. Saturdays there is usually a band so enjoy it or get annoyed for loud music until 1 am. "This was our second stay at this hotel and it is an excellent choice. It is close to the airport. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is included. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. A made-to-order breakfast was also included. The rates are reasonable and the staff efficient and professional. "While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money."

"This is the hotel we use on a regular basis when in Kampala for work. The staff there are very friendly, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the breakfast is okay. It’s a fantastic value-for-money hotel. Downside - only a couple of local TV stations; no movie channel. Parking can be an issue sometimes, but the hotel really try hard to accommodate us on this. And no fridge in a standard room. Other than these few minor items, the budget hotel is really great! "
