The room was simple, but clean and well presented, the countryside is beautiful and the hotel has a restaurant on site which serves gorgeous food. "Außergewöhnliche Gastgeber. Wir waren zu Fuß unterwegs und wurden von Marjan ins nächste Dorf gefahren, um einkaufen und Abendessen zu können. Er hat uns eine Stadtrundfahrt gegeben und viel über die Gegend erzählt. Nach der Abreise hatten wir unser Essen im Kühlschrank gegessen. Es war ein Feiertag, an denen die Geschäfte geschlossen hatten. Die beiden sind mit dem Auto ein paar Dörfer zu uns gefahren, um uns die Sachen zu bringen und haben sogar noch selbst gebackenen Kuchen mitgebracht. Sehr...

"Such a lovely property--the balcony is so relaxing. Rooms are wonderfully appointed and enjoyed our conversations with the owner. He was so helpful and interesting to chat with. This is truly a place to relax and enjoy in the small town of Kostanjevica na Krki. We had a wonderful stay! A gem in southeastern Slovenia--both Vila Castanea and the town."
