"Very lovely location and very remote and safe compared to the rest of the town. The waterfall house is a full house with all amenities and is an absolutely fabulous place to stay.
The cabins are cute and we had the place to ourselves but if we visit the big island again we will be sure to reserve the waterfall house for the full stay because it’s just so wonderful!
Staff was very helpful, peaceful, clean and quiet."

"I think this is the best kept secret of Hilo. We loved sitting on the porch looking at the gorgeous view of the large green yard with many fruit trees and huge palm trees in the distance. We walked through the backyard to a river with waterfalls. The hosts are available and helpful. The breakfasts full of exotic fruit were amazing. This stay alone was one of the highlights of our trip to HI. Guest books were full of grateful entries that went back for decades."

"I was super excited to stay at this property.
The pluses...the Koy pond. The fish are amazing and love to eat. Also, the sounds at night from nature.
Would have been nice to have a lounger in the sun room rather than just chairs.
Not many other pluses. We tried to get connected to Internet. The welcome book didn't seem to match the house. The descriptions were off.
There were at least 5 remotes but none of them did anything. Only one turned off and on the TV. TV was activated through Roku....

"Views from the lanai are beautiful. Super easy check-in process and house was as described and seen in photos. Would definitely stay again"

"The house is great. There was an issue which the owners took care of promptly. This place does not have a/c and that is likely my fault. I'm sure I just missed it in the listing. The house wasn't too warm during the day but cooled down and sleeping at night was perfect. It is close to Hilo town. It is close to a general store if you need something and walking distance from a beach that apparently has seals at it frequently. We did not see any this trip. We had the house to ourselves....
