"Newport was busy as there was a conference being held at the time of my stay. My usual hotel was fully booked so I stayed at the Belvilla, I could only book the assisted room as it was all that was available. It was very clean with a nice size bed which was very comfortable, room was clean and well presented. Good quality bed linen and towels, loads of coffee and tea . "First impressions were very good . Bathroom door handle was not secure (just pushed on ) the bedding seemed clean and fresh but i stripped the beds in the morning and the duvets were badly stained "

"My friend got locked in the bathroom but staff were prompt, staff friendly later on in the trip, room was nice and no issues. I stayed here after going to a concert in Cardiff and I wish I had stayed longer to make better use of the room and facilities etc."
