"It would be nice to have a bigger fridge. There was no coffee maker and not enough garbage cans. (They were tiny). The steam room was not working and the pool gone. (Under renovation). The restaurant had limited selection and no late night options. The room was good but we were next to elevator. The hair dryer plug doesn’t fit in socket and the sink didn’t drain."

"A functional hotel conveniently situated opposite Lausanne railway station and 40 yards from the metro entrance. The complimentary transport card that is provided allows easy access up to the old town (2 stops) and down to the lakeside (4 stops).
My room facing the station (currently undergoing major expansion) was compact and reasonably comfortable, with a notably high pressure shower.
The station surroundings are typically unprepossessing but the attractive parts of the town are not far...

"I would not recommend this hotel.
During our stay in May 2026, the sofa bed in our room collapsed in the middle of the night while my son was sleeping on it under normal use. This created a serious safety concern and significantly disrupted our stay. Photos of the broken sofa bed are attached.
The hotel acknowledged the incident and agreed to provide CHF 150 in compensation. Because the reservation was made through Expedia, the hotel stated that it could not refund my credit card directly and...

"Note Expedia defaults to rooms at back of property which when we stayed were very noisy late at night with people and cars until the early hours. Lakeside rooms were available but significantly more. Just remember to factor that in when making your choice."

"Property has a very good location. I was able to park in front of the property and there is a big train station close by that connects very easily to the main tourist places to go to. The staff was very kind very professional and very helpful. I truly recommend this place."
