"Our bedroom was in the older part of the hotel, it was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. Our room was quiet even though you are above some of the other parts of the hotel. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. It was a very relaxing hotel with great staff, "

"I had a very lovely stay here, Jack and Alex W on the front desk where very helpful as well. The bar staff were fabulous as well, especially Maddie, who was very friendly. June in the breakfast room in the morning was very kind and polite as well. I stayed in one of the apartments across the car park which was very modern and had an area where you can cook. "The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."

"We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating."

"Beautiful, elegant treasure right around the corner from the train station and near bus stops. Easy walk to Salisbury Cathedral and Museum. Excellent breakfast! Delicious Nepalese restaurant a few doors to the left. Lovely pub where you can safely leave your luggage and have a beer and eat pub food. Stonehenge a bus ride away! "

"We wanted a pet friendly hotel and boy, did we get it. Every member of staff treated our little pup like royalty. In the room there was a comfortable bed for her with a towel and 2 blankets along with some bowls but the piece de resistance was a the little bag containing poop bags, treats and a ball. "I was literally 6 minutes away from the cathedral and the main shopping. The hotel was very quaint. Breakfast was excellent as was the staff. I wish I had had time to use the enormous tub!"
