"No. 5 Valley Lodge was one of the most memorable places I stayed in China. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, tucked into the mountains with a very calm, nature-focused atmosphere. It feels much more special than a normal hotel because the whole property has a sense of place — quiet paths, greenery, mountain views, and a slower rhythm that makes it feel like a real escape.

"Overall a very good place to stay. Very close to the National Forest attractions. Staff will need translator to communicate. They can’t understand English but they are very helpful and friendly.
Special mention to the waitress Li Ping on our floor. She was very helpful and took care of use very well. "
