They were very accommodating for us - let us check in early, let us join a last minute tour, and made our anniversary very special. We enjoyed the night hike, day hike, and coffee/chocolate tour. "The Location was excellent, close to restaurants and supermarkets. The room was very spacious with a view of the surrounding hills. There were several trails on the property which were beautiful and interesting. I saw a family of Coati's one afternoon feeding on a tree at the edge of the property. That was a great experience. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was very helpful and several tours were booked through the hotel. It was a three hour drive from San Jose to Monteverde...

"Great time there. Staff was the best. We stayed at a few hotels in Costa Rica. This place just felt like a second home. It's not too busy or crowded, so the pools were not packed. The fact that they have 5 places to swim gave us plenty of time to have just our family at one. The best part of this place were the people. They helped us prepare every excursion. Very friendly and personable. We would definitely return."
