"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "Property fairly well kept, rooms could maybe be updated/modernised but not major concern. Could not access tv smart functions. Comfortable beds, rooms cleaned everyday. Food okay. "

"Accommodation was well maintained and clean. Ther is no onsite manager an entry is by keypad. I did not receive the code for the property 48 hours before check in. So I emailed CIH. Despite having booked and paid in full on Expedia I was told I must pay a local charge and the cleaning fee before being given the code to access the property. This felt like a scam. I contacted Expedia and eventually was advised to pay the extra (250 euro). The property is great but beware the extra charges."
