"Staff were pleasant and welcoming. We checked in quickly and were given earlier access to our room. We have stayed there before in a Marina view room, floor 3, which was lovely. "The location is great - very central in downtown Faro with lots of cafés and restaurants close by. Hotel is clean and rooms are OK. No pool as it was being repaired. "The hotel is very attractive, inviting and clean. The staff were friendly and attentive towards us. The breakfast buffet was superb and the restaurant for evening meals was excellent. Food came out in a timely manner, it was presented beautifully and best of all, it tasted great. The room was clean and a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and it was especially nice to sit out on the balcony at the end of the day.

"Fabulous stay. Room was lovely. Very clean, good size, amazing sea view! The small kitchen area in the room was somewhat of a surprise! (If we had to be picky, an electric kettle would have been useful) Communal areas- pool area, gardens etc were well maintained. Breakfast was great. Good variety, and fresh. The omelette and egg lady was skilled! All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. "

"Portugal is stunning. The food at the hotel is excellent, especially the desserts. The pool was closed during my stay, only the spa was available. The welcome drink isn’t suitable for non-alcohol drinkers. Unfortunately, a housekeeper stole a necklace from my room. The music at the reception is repetitive and could use more variety. The interiors are gorgeous.
