"This was our second visit to Charlton Hall and this time stayed in The Tempus. It didn’t disappoint. Everything is well thought out, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated. We ate in the Orangery a couple of times, both of which were delicious. The staff are attentive and courteous. What’s not to love! We will return! "

"Lovely stay, comfy bed, dinner at onsite pub was delicious. Extensive, well maintained grounds to walk around. Loved the small things like the notice in our room offering fresh milk and ice if you called reception and the filtered water dispenser in the area outside our room "

"Pleasant pod in nice gardens but no bar or dining in site and a lot of rubbish ‘hidden’ around the property. Next to a static caravan park which you must walk through to reach the pub where you have to go for a drink or to eat. Beach is a short drive away not realistically a walk as indicated. "
