"This is a lovely hotel. We stayed in a luxury double room, which was nice with a spacious bathroom and great shower. Our dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced and staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking across the road from the hotel."

"Spacious room which was well appointed and with a comfortable bed. Service of breakfast was slow but the food, which we also experienced for a lunch and a dinner, was consistently good. Service was good for both lunch and dinner. The garden was a really pleasant place for lunch. Staff generally very pleasant and helpful."

"Unfortunately, our room was in the sub basement, which was very damp. There were no washcloths available in the bathroom and there were no trashcan liner so we couldn’t even use the trash cans. Unfortunate because it’s a beautiful building."
