"We had a lovely stay at the hotel, our room was nice and clean on arrival. Breakfast was good and the pool and spa area were just what we needed to have an hour to relax in. Kaleb at the bar was really friendly and professional. We would stay again if in the area. "

"This historic building has been beautifully restored, congratulations! The Old Abbey House is in a perfect location in the centre of Abingdon. Our room was a deluxe king suite (garden view) and was faultless. Thoughtfully designed, spacious with a separate seating and kitchen area making for a very comfortable stay. Check-in was very straightforward."

"Room was average. Clean. Shower was a good size. Could have done with a few hooks both in bathroom and room. However bed was so high, had to climb to get on to it. And pillows very thick. Just about managed two nights. Could not have handled a third night sleeping on them. Breakfast was ok, not great but filled a whole. Front of desk staff very knowledgeable and gave us good direction for places to eat out of the centre of Oxford. The maps they had for park and ride etc were handy. Average stay."
