"Overall great experience checking in and staff lovely helpful. Good spa facilities. However we stayed in room 405 and there was a horrible draft coming through the window. We noticed it at around 10.30pm after we came up from the pool and it made the room cold all night. We tried putting towels around the window to keep the draft out but the room did feel cold all night. Other than that it has the potential to be a really good stay. "

"Great room, good and clean. Great decor and would certainly visit again. (Too good to say a "stay" as host so personable and friendly). Self check in as such, but only because of our travel time varied, would have been met by owners. Great hosts, giving good local advice and hints and tips, could not do enough to help us a new to the area. Bed very comfortable and certainly a warm room. We felt really at home here. "Service with a smile. Room decor calming, bed soo comfortable. Food well deserving of the rosettes. Professional and courteous service. Lovely breakfast. Great vegetarian options. In walking distance of the city centre, beach, and ocean view walking path. Will definitely stay again. Your staff are a credit to you. Oh. Enjoyed the pantry goodies on the first floor landing. The shortbread cookies went down a treat with a cup of tea."

"Stayed for one night but had a very friendly welcome. Room was clean and modern with only some outdated features. Bar is open all night and car park is clean and well maintained. It was quite warm in the room as radiators were on full blast but was very comfortable once turned down."

"Room was shabby and tired with one window pane missing and inadequately covered with a piece of board, drawer handle missing, radiator cover coming away, dead light bulb, partially blocked wash basin, mirrors extensively desilvered, etc. Website was misleading. There is no reception, no restaurant and no bar, although a good breakfast was available in the nice hotel across the road but no other meals. We had to brave heavy rain to get there though.
