"We had a nice stay, enjoyed the pool, views, balcony and breakfast for $12 was good. Really nice location with lots of choices for excellent restaurants within a mile radius. The hotel is a bit dated, frayed towels, bathroom needed maintenance and mirror needed a good cleaning. That said the Jr. suite had everything we needed for the week, so it worked for us."

"Fabulous property. Location is fantastic in quiet Ribeira Grande. Easy to get to all parts of Sao Miguel. My only advice is that if you come for the outdoor pool, it is very cold, and days with sun are elusive."

"The hotel felt very personal and almost like I was in a paradise. The staff was always friendly and helpful, no matter what we needed they were always able to accommodate. What I really enjoyed was the thermal pools, it made the entire hotel feel more in nature, additionally they were never stingy with their towels unlike some hotels that put a limit on you.
