"The Staff are excellent.. Breakfast has a super selection however, not complimentary. The hotel is dated but super comfortable. A/C is super noisy and need to check before accepting the room.. the pool is nice BUT steam room and Sauna are only available in each Mens & womens change rooms.. one or the other ? So couples of opposite sex can not sauna together.. Easy 25 min access to downtown by car or Uber ( $17 ) .. recommend if you check the above.. our double King deluxe room was super spacious & had a empty bar fridge to keep snacks cold.. no Microwave though .. "

"Hotel is clean enough. Bed is quite firm and pool is great for the kids. The rooms are rundown (the inside of our bathroom door looked like it had been through a war). The rooms have an overly floral smell - like a deodorizer spray - I can see this bothering anyone with scent issue as it was VERY strong. The breakfast is okay - lots of carbs such as pastries and cereals, there is a waffle maker but no cup or oil spray so what comes out is tasty but messy. The only protein is boiled eggs - but they don't have that weird hotel boiled egg taste so thumbs up on that. We were staying for 1 night as just a place to sleep and swim and for that it was worth the cheaper price - in fact, we are booked again here for our next competition in this area. "

"The staff is fantastic. The hotel itself however, is old. Damage on the walls and doors is visible. The elevators are quirky, the toilets temperamental and the walls thin. There is no soundproofing between rooms. The gym needs an overhaul. I did love the full service restaurant and lounge and there are many dining options in the area."

"The hotel rooms are showing their age, no hair dryer in the rooms, and the hotel was extremely noisy. There was a hockey and ringette tournament (which is fine) but the noise went well past 2am. "
