"Great location in center of Alkmaar! Shops & restaurants right outside the door. The hotel is beautiful and our room was great. The lofted room would not work well for someone with mobility challenges but worked well for us. Very responsive communication from the hotel! Would happily stay there again. "

The free shuttle ran twice every hour around the clock, and the stop was right outside airport arrivals with a big white tour-style bus that was easy to spot. "The hotel is away from the centre but thankfully easy by bus to get to. The area is a bit nondescript and gets deserted at night. The room was stunning and impeccably clean. The kitchen was spacious and fully kitted. I previously stayed in other Bob W’s and having a front desk was a welcome change from the impersonal service.
