"Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough!! All of the staff went out of their way to ensure we felt at home at this hotel. They were so hospitable and accommodating. I want to give a special shoutout to Rose who helped us with booking massage, dinner, transportation to the airport etc. she was lovely! The breakfast was wonderful as was the massage at the hotel spa. The room was clean and comfortable. The high price is the only downside but it’s worth it. "

"We felt very comfortable at the Peridot. This was one of our favorite accommodations with amazing staff, an amazing breakfast and our room was beautiful. The spa and jacuzzi was fantastic as well. We would definitely recommend the Peridot to anyone staying in the Old Quarter in Hanoi."

"La Nueva Boutique was a fantastic choice for our 5 days in Hanoi. From arrival to departure, the staff were attentive and friendly and happy to help. Jimmy arranged a car for us and gave us a great recommendation for a self-guided walking tour. The morning breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, and the coffee was fantastic black. The rooftop bar, Estrella, deserves more patronage than it gets. It has a nice concept with the menu, drinks designed as metaphors for the planets. The drinks were interesting and tasty. The view is very good and the bartenders are personable and have excellent English. We had wide-ranging conversations each night and it made coming back to the hotel special. I felt like I was leaving friends when they shook my hand the last night. The location cannot be beat, right in the heart of Old Quarter a block from the lake. Old Quarter is my kind of place, with genuine local food, bars, cafes and a vibrant street scene. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hallways and room smelled fresh and slightly herbal. It is a pretty old building but it has been well cared-for. It made a great base of operations for city exploration."

"When we arrived, we were informed that breakfast was a 2-3 minute walk and that the bar was closed for renovations. The junior suite room we booked, was tired and taken up mainly by the huge bed which was very comfortable. The room was cleaned daily. The location in the old quarter couldn’t have been better, walking distance to Train Street etc . The staff couldn’t do enough for you and were extremely helpful. I think the photographer must have been paid well to exaggerate the size and quality of the hotel and room"

"We did our research and were very happy with our choice. This is an outstanding hotel with excellent staff in a superb location. They made everything simple - including airport transfers and our breakfasts were amazing. We plan on staying her again during future travels. "
