"10/10 recommendation for couples. Jimmy was a great cook and very friendly. He’s definitely an asset. Room was comfortable and clean. Pool was very relaxing and refreshing. First time in Costa Rica and it was perfect staying here."

"Lamangata was one of the best stays I've ever had. The property sits high in the hills above the jungle with views all the way to the ocean, and the infinity pool looking out over the valley is unreal, especially at sunrise and sunset. The team plans everything for you. Each morning a hand-drawn chalkboard lists the tide times, meals and the day's activities, so all we had to do was show up. "The location is amazing, wonderful animals everywhere, and the staff was so kind and helpful!! I recommend coming for a Pura Vida adventure!!!"

"What an amazing piece of paradise! The property is stunning and the staff is very friendly and informative. I would say a 4x4 vehicle is required, especially in the rainy season. We saw tons of birds and enjoyed listening to the howler monkeys in the morning from the porch. I would definitely stay again and refer my friends!"

"El lugar está en óptimo estado. Limpio, ventilado, cómodo. El baño más grande de lo usual. Las habitaciones limpias y el AC funcionando al 100%. La ubicación es estratégica y muy cercana al Parque Marino Ballena y a Uvita. La verdad me encantó. Y el trato de Lidia, la señora encargada, de primera. Siempre atenta a cualquier consulta."

"Beautiful place to stay, a ton of things to do nearby. The host was great and the property perfect for a stay in the tropics"

"The place is beautiful and the staff is super friendly"

"We had the 2 bedroom apartment that stepped right out to the pool. It accommodated our two couples very well. It was a very clean place with, helpful cheerful staff. Breakfast was a good bonus."

"Rooms were clean and well-equipped. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient to beach and the hotel even has a handy tide chart posted daily so you know when you can walk to the whale tail. Nice balconies on second-level rooms The property is easy to miss because there are no signs on the street for it. Google Maps showed us where it was but we didn't believe it at first since there were no signs. But once we found it, someone was right there the open the gate for us and let us check in several...
