"We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the historic sights and the walking trails. Also convenient to good dining options. The breakfast was really good as well. Nice, clean and affordable. There is no parking on-site but they have access to parking garage spaces in the same block for additional fee. "
"Cristina was very friendly and the breakfasts she brought us were great. The house was clean and well appointed. The pool was beautiful and the outdoor barbecue facilities were quite useful"
"The personal service from the owners was fantastic and the food in their restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend a day in this lovely very small hotel."
"Beautiful property with a great wine tour. Breakfast was delicious as well and it had a nice bar. There are wild peacocks and pea hens running around and the spa has some unusual treatments. Loved this stay!"
"Everything about my stay was excellent: my room; the restaurant; the comfortable lobby; pool; and most especially everyone on the staff. I highly recommend staying here. "
"A definite must stay if you are visiting the Duoro Valley. It is a small slice of paradise once you enter the red door. Manuel was so kind and helpful. The wine paired dinner (for a cost) was delicious and very informative. Highly recommend you book here. "
