"the manager started the experience by trying to double the price of Hotels.com that was already booked and confirmed. If I didn't get a local SIM card to have internet I wouldn't of been able to despute it and he would of got away with it. there is also a club in the hotel that blasts horrible baliwood music until 3am that can be heard on the top floor. Very old and not remodeled. sinks barely work and the bathtub makes you need another shower after using it. barely 1 star hotel. no idea...

"There are no signs in english saying ameer al sharq. The sign on the hotel actually says orient hotel. The entrance is on the right side of the hotel. This hotel is a budget hotel and you will get what you pay for. Do not expect much. The location is right across the street from the roman amphitheater and just at the base of the hill of the amman citadel. There are some restaurants near.
