"Stayed in the cottage room. Really small bathroom. The screened in porch, advertised as an upgrade to this room, and the reason we booked this room, was filthy and filled with hardware and cleaning supplies. Completely cluttered and, dirty and unusable. Breakfast was served and was not good. Eggs and fruit were edible, the rest was not. Overall place was dirty and not worth the roughly $170 we paid to stay there. Wanted to like this place, and thought it would be charming based on the...

"My room was clean and quiet and had a very comfortable bed. Parking was plentiful and close to my room. Unfortunately the Wi Fi was out the entire four days of my stay; at least, I couldn’t get the TV to work. I also wish they had hand towels to use by the sink. They only supply small bath towels and wash clothes. Overall this is an acceptable budget stay."

"I stayed in the cottage for 3 nights with a friend of mine. It was a perfect base for us to explore the nearby mountain roads for daily drives, such as the Tail of the Dragon. Bill was super friendly at the front desk and gave us helpful tips such as a hike to a nearby amazing waterfall. The cottage was clean and tidy on the inside, a 70s vibe with wood paneling and furniture and a small kitchen with everything we needed. There was coffee, filters and plenty of towels. "Staff was very nice and helpful. Stay was not what I expected for the price. Commode lid was extremely loose, chair cushion was very sticky so, I turned the cushion over to the other side and it was filthy with gobs of hair etc. I had to put a pillowcase on the cushion to sit in the chair. The water valve in the bathroom sink was missing the handle that changes water from hot to cold was missing. Items were reported upon checkout so, hopefully the next guest won’t have those problems."

"This is an "ok" place to stay. The rooms are clean but there are absolutely no amenities. There were electrical problems in our room and they did not turn on the AC prior to our arrival. With temps in the 90s it took quite a while for our room to cool.down. The view was the best part of our stay."
