"Room was in good condition and large with kitchen. Comfortable bed. Beach sand is soft. Pools were nice and at top of hill with the food & drinks. Some common areas need a bit of maintenance/upkeep. Rooms are down the steep hill in rows. Stayed in 300's about 1/2 way down. Walking down was not bad, did not need to walk up as shuttle arrived at the right times. The shuttle ran a loop that seemed pretty frequent. They say every 5-15 min, but never had to wait even 5. Only time I saw it full was...

"The pool at Borinquen is surrounded by trees and is set kind of in a valley and in the afternoons between 3-5 you could start to see the branches moving on the trees and all of a sudden, you would start to see monkeys swinging from branch to branch.
