"The staff here is very helpful and friendly, and my room was so comfortable and well decorated. It was better than the last time I stayed there, which was already good... so I think the management here must be very dedicated to a positive guest experience and improvements in their hotel. The hot water worked well, everything was very clean, and it's both a quiet place but within 5 or so minutes walking to the beach, restaurants, etc I will definitely stay here if I visit Punta Cana again. "

"Grand Bavaro Princess is a very nice and large resort with plenty of restaurants and food choices. The staff is friendly and provides good service throughout the property. The only I did not like was being constantly approached with offers of free gifts, memberships, and sale presentations. I am on vacation to relax, and I have no interest in sitting through marketing pitches or listening to advertisements. Guests should be able to enjoy their vacation without feeling pressured or interrupted. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. However, the bath towels are old, worn out, and should be replaced with newer ones. Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend the resort for its beautiful property, variety of dining options, and friendly staff. A few improvments in guest experience and towel quality would make the resort even better."

Iberostar Selection Bávaro Suites - All Inclusive

"So I have been to iberostar several times but this last time will be my last. The refrigerators in the rooms do not cool they just maintain the drinks at room temperature. They do not provide water bottles instead they give you a glass bottle to fill with water at “filtered” water stations throughout the resort. The ice machines never have ice. This is extremely sad as I bragged to my partner in how beautiful this place was. I was let down. The first room smelled like the cheese section of a supermarket, there was hair in the sink and inside the water bottle that I was supposed to fill with drinking water. They changed me to another room which was worst it had HEALTHY roaches I was so stressed as this was just my first night. We went back to the front desk to show them videos of the roaches in the room then and only then they decided to upgrade us to the Coral section of iberostar. The room was in better shape the AC in any of the rooms did not worked properly. Overall I am disappointed. If you are diabetic or someone who’s drinks a lot of water DO NOT GO HERE! Iberostar is not what is was!"

"The resort is beautiful! It has been renovated and is very nice. Maintenance does well responding. We got a little warm in the room, but the vents were aimed at the ceiling so he fixed it for us. The trees are beautiful and the animals are a pleasure to see on the property. They clean the walkways regularly. The international buffet is good, not outstanding, and has variety. The restaurants were awesome! We checked every morning, first thing, and were about to eat at each one we wanted to. We ate at Tao twice. The Dominican restaurant was excellent!! Fogo was Brazilian and a nice experience as well. They’re doing well cleaning the seaweed from the beach. It piled up a little the last two days but they do well maintaining that too. Overall I would say that the resort is an 8 out of 10. Food is 7-7.5 of 10. Staff needs improvement in friendliness. I’d rate them 5 of 10. We never look for extra treatment at these places but we do expect to be treated kindly. Maybe it’s the culture because we noticed it elsewhere too. That was lacking. Santos was a pleasure to deal with! Very helpful! Ask for him id you need anything. The spa was wonderful also!!! Excellent deep tissue massage by Catherine and her friend (can’t remember the name-started with a G) Missed having relaxing music in the spa though. Last advice: bring bug spray. Mosquitos were everywhere and we couldn’t figure out how they were getting in the room because we never left our door open. Resort needs mosquito spray down."
