"Perla del Sole is a small, friendly B&B, though with a hotel-style reception, in the resort of Arenella, 8km from Syracuse. The hotel manager (who spoke excellent English) greeted us warmly and provided plenty of helpful information, such as maps, local restaurants, transport information, etc. The rooms were comfortable with all the essentials, including air conditioning (definitely needed at night, as it stays hot after sundown in Sicily) and free wi-fi, and were well cleaned daily. "The property is beautiful surrounded by lemon trees. It is located off of a busy road which is only accessible by vehicle. You can't walk to Noto, it is very dangerous. You definitely need a car and if I had known, i would not have stayed there. The owner Fabrizio was very helpful and so was Sergio. The Breakfast was mediocre, and beds were comfortable. I think that it was expensive for what we got."
