"We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

A visit to the sights with historical relevance in Aroniadika is probably first on your travel itinerary. And while you are here in the area, why not also explore all there is to see and do?
How many historically relevant hotels are located in Aroniadika?
You'll find 100 hotels bookable on Expedia in the larger Kithira area, but not many designated as historic hotels.
What are the most important historical places and other sights to visit in Aroniadika?
Places to visit in the wider area include Fonissa Falls, Mylopotamos Springs and Cave of Milopotamos. You'll also find Port of Ag Pelagia and Port of Kythira in the area.
What is a historic hotel like in Aroniadika?
A historic hotel gives guests a chance to stay in a building recognised with a national historic designation. Historic hotels throughout the world have had many former lives and uses, such as castles, stately homes, palaces or even pubs, lodges, old police stations or skyscrapers — any building that's been identified as being of special interest. These types of hotels in Aroniadika typically retain original characteristics such as period features or traditional architecture in guestrooms or communal spaces.
What is the difference between a historic hotel and a heritage hotel?
The two are similar. "Historic hotel" is more commonly used in the U.S., while "heritage hotel" is often used in Asia and Europe. Historic hotels tend to emphasise the building and architecture itself. A heritage hotel draws meaning mainly from the place's cultural value and how it shaped the community.
Do historic hotels in Aroniadika have modern facilities?
Yes. Every effort is made to preserve the historic aspects and traditions, but interiors include modern conveniences and safety features. Guests can expect the amenities you'd find in a hotel such as private rooms with updated bathroom facilities, heating and air conditioning, and free and fast Internet. In Aroniadika, booking a historic hotel doesn't mean you're choosing a place that's rundown or uncomfortable for guests.
