"To be fair, there was an event happening all around the hotel which certainly impacted the feel and seclusion. The rooms look like they could use updating and polish - they were pretty banged up. No safe or closets in the room. No free water in the room though they did have carafes in the lobby. Our “river” view consisted of peeking very hard through a brush of trees to see a glimpse of river. Everyone seems pretty checked out here - no one to greet you or tell you how to valet - friendly enough...

"I stayed here for 3 nights while in Portland and was very pleased with the Hotel. The customer service is amazing as well as the amenities included in the stay. Would 100% recommend if staying in Portland."

"Our stay was good and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Though the hotel applied $100 flat pet fees which is very high and should be mentioned somewhere prior to booking. They also don't have parking space, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy and charge $55 for valet parking. Overall a little inconvenient given the parking situation."

It is about a one mile walk to downtown and very near bus and tram lines so transportation was convenient. There is nice courtyard to sit in and read or enjoy a snack of beverage of your own as there is no service. No coffee in room but available in the lobby across the street starting at 6:00 or downstairs (after 8:00). It is actually more like a motel with. exterior...

"Very good hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, modern, quiet. The internal garden is pretty: a nice place to sit and have a cup of coffee. Convenient location. The breakfast is very limited. This one can be definitely improved."

"The room was clean but definitely needs work! They tried to cover up the mold on the ceiling in the bathroom with a thin layer of paint, the paint was also pealing off the walls in the bathroom. The water pressure was amazing but you had to turn the shower off to wash your body due to the shower head being in a fixed position (which was annoying). Beds were not horrible but also no great.
