"We stayed the night to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary as we'd had our wedding there. Staff were so lovely and helped to make it special for us. We were given vouchers for a complimentary drink and snack as well as a celebratory breakfast in the conservatory."

I was very surprised as the room seemed very clean but over the course of the next couple of days 40 or so bites appeared. "We stayed in an Executive run which was well maintained and spacious if a little dated. Bathroom had been updated but corners had been cut like an old siding on the bath. Air con worked well and the room was quiet overnight. Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited choices and the eggs were terrible both scrambled and fried, but it was only £10 each. "Lovely old building, good location exceptional breakfast. Parking is a bit of a nightmare after a 10 point turn in the car park had to find parking across the road which was no problem for my little car but you might struggle with a bigger car."

"We were unable to sleep in the room due to the fact it was too hot and had no air con, so we had to leave. If a hotel does not have air con it needs to be made clearer when making the booking, especially y in the summer time."
