Great hotel which is very new. Ample of parking space and I thought the space was very well designed. There were options to buy some stuff from the lobby lounge as well. The lobby gets a little crowded sometimes but aside from that, the hotel was great.

Beds are Super Comfy

The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows the most comfortable on our trip. Whilst this hotel has no restaurant there are a number of local restaurants with great food or a kitchen area where you can enjoy your takeaway convenience store meal. The bakery that was recommended for breakfast was outstanding!

This was a gem of a hotel in the middle of NOWHERE. But I can't fault the hotel with that. The hotel was very clean, staff was nice and my room is huge for even Western standards. Just nothing to eat around that location... 😯

Very modern and western style - very comfortable. Next door to onsens and a super little grocery store/community centre with visitor information desk and an area to eat. It's a small point but the in-room bathroom does not offer hair conditioner (and conditioning shampoo is not an effective alternative). In such a nice hotel, why cut this corner???

Literally opposite Aso train station if arriving by train. Has plenty of parking and less than thirty minutes drive to the volcano visitors center. Feels brand new in 2025. Realistically you are going to need a car to have options for dinner etc.

位於阿蘇站旁邊的萬楓酒店，是在阿蘇地區前往景點很棒的中繼地，如果想要暢玩阿蘇，這是一個非常棒的住宿地方，需要好好的住上兩晚。 飯店偏向純提供住宿，床不錯(席夢思)，也有一個還不錯的交誼廳提供咖啡、微波爐及熱水使用；停車場非常大又好停。 住宿地點旁邊有LAWSON、自費的湯屋及一些甜點餐廳，晚上可以去看火車經過、在外面散步看看星空。

今風の海外系列のスタイルなのでしょうが、フロントでは現金による支払いはできず、バスに浴槽はありません。目の前にある阿蘇駅のレストランも隣の温泉浴場も早々に閉まります（近くにコンビニはありますが）。接客が丁寧で施設はとても清潔で快適で、いろんなものを快く貸し出してくれますしミソスープとかが取り放題の軽食スペースも便利です。気持ちよく利用するには温泉が閉まる前にチェックインするとか計画を立て、スタイルを理解して利用するといいと思います。

Bra läge, helt fräscht, trevlig personal. Hotellet erbjuder inte frukost men det är fint ordnat så att man själv enkelt kan värma egen frukost, dygnet runt affär runt hörnet. Aso är en vandringsdestination så lite bättre upphängningsmöjligheter för blöta kläder i rummet skulle vara bra.

Hotel was lovely. Room very large, definitely a Western feel but with some Japanese features (eg sliding doors separating living compartments). As with most Japanese hotels it has no cupboards! Large lounge for heating/eating food which was great and cheap washing facilities too. Location excellent, good base for visiting the area, although a car is an essential.
