"Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Helpful staff and nice breakfast.
Location is a good area just not much going on. Asuwayama Park worth the 15 minutes walk away.
Definitely recommend!"
"Standard Japanese hotel (somewhat small room, onsen available, etc.), but the breakfast was great and they have a map of recommended places for dinner. There are a couple of parking spots at the hotel, a few more spots a block down the street, etc. (there's a map of parking spots on the side of the hotel). "
"Our stay here was wonderful—the staff, the food, the onsen and of course the arrangement of the temple activities. If you are going to Eihiji I highly recommend a stay here."
"The experience of staying this historical hotel is amazing, the staffed are polite and helpful from check in to check out. The public onsen is spacious and comfortable. The fusion food are creative but under average. My room type with an onsen inside also, the garden view is good"
"2nd floor has a very fish oil smell from the restaurant.
Besides that, the modern Japanese rooms are unreal, awesome amenities, great onsen, with a cold pool, no sauna.
Staff were excellent, there are places for smoking.
A Family Mart just around the corner, and good restaurants around, although is dark to walk around at night.
But seems more for groups and families that are staying exclusively in the onsen."
