"I would pass on this place. Simple question of how much the security deposit is could not be answered by the front desk. Just wanted me to put my card in. It's nice to how much money is good to be held before hand"
"Older building that has been updated. Construction around building made it confusing to locate. Grab and go breakfast items located in lobby, no seating.
Check-in staff very pleasant."
"Such a great location for adventures into what southern Minnesota has to offer! Whether it’s state parks, nightlife, local restaurants, or just wondering where time really seems to slow down for a while"
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Northwood by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"It was quiet and comfortable. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Pool and hot tub both working small fitness room was nice. Several restaurants in casino near by. Coffee was great. Small fridge in rooms is nice."
"*“Check‑in was easy and straightforward. However, I was very disappointed that Quality Inn did not notify me ahead of time that the property was under renovation. When I arrived, I waited in the lobby with no signage or instructions until someone finally told me I needed to check in across the street at Heritage Inn. I received no email, message, or posted notice about this change. I paid for one hotel and ended up staying at another, which felt misleading.
At check‑in, the staff member did not explain anything about the situation or ask any questions—he simply handed me a room number. When I asked for clarification, he only said ‘yes’ without further explanation.
Because of this, I cannot accurately review Quality Inn, only Heritage Inn. The renovation at Heritage Inn is an improvement compared to when I stayed three years ago. The staff themselves were fine, but the noise level was an issue. The guests above my room were running around past midnight, and due to the gap under the door, voices from the hallway were very noticeable.
Overall, the lack of communication about the hotel change was my biggest disappointment.”**"
