Quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and I love the design and decor. The kitchen and room are very spacious. It's so convenient to visit the farm animals during the day and stargave at midnight! "We found this excellent family run hotel to be the best of all our booked accommodation throughout our NC500 trip. The staff were all friendly, very helpful and attentive. Our room was clean, specious and modern, the fittings looked brand new! A very substantial & tasty breakfast was available in a lovely room with fabulous views. We thoroughly recommend the experience of staying at Westlands if you’re heading for Pitlochry. It’s a 5* hotel at a very reasonable rate."

There was plenty of parking available at a very reasonable cost. Breakfast in the restaurant was good with buffet style continental supplemented with cooked items to order. The room itself was very comfortable and clean. The hotel itself was a short walk from the centre of Dundee and a wide variety of food choice as well as supermarkets."

"This hotel was fantastic value. The modern, stylish rooms sit above "the pub" but this property is quiet and respectful. Decor is updated and there is a coffee machine. No fridge, but the lovely staff will refrigerate anything you have that needs it. Breakfast was part buffet and then a lovely hot plate cooked to order to your preferences. Staff could not have been more helpful or welcoming. Easy parking on street outside. This is a pretty quiet village and provided a lovely single night haven. We were sorry not to stay another night. Yes there are stairs up to the room so just take the luggage that you need for the night!"
