"We were staying at this hotel during our stay in Dublin with my son April 17-20th . I was travelling with no expectations at all. I would like to say that thank you to the entire hotel’s staff, because of their hospitality our stay was great. Room was big and clean. The only thing that was missing in the rooms was probably the mini fridge, us, Canadian and USA travellers are used to have a fridge in the room. Other than that our stay was great at Metro . The Airport shuttle is a great bonus 👍"

"We stayed at the Carlton in a family room (two adults and two teenagers). Although we checked in late and left early, which meant we didn’t get to use all of the facilities, everything we did experience met our expectations. The room and hotel were spacious, exceptionally clean, and comfortably above basic standards. It was remarkably quiet. "The room itself was lovely but the staff was either overwhelmed or didn't care.
The room was booked for 3 but had only been prepared for 2. We had to go to the reception desk to ask for an extra set of towels because no one answered the phone. We ran out of toilet paper our second night and there was no one at reception to get it for us. After waiting 15 minutes, I went into the lobby bathroom and pulled off enough to get us through the night.

"Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were really friendly and the hotel was immaculate. Unlike other hotels the breakfast was cooked to order and tasted great. We had an evening meal there too which was also lovely. We used the swimming pool too and the underground parking facility meant we didn’t have to worry about finding a place to park. If we come back for another trip to Dublin, we would 100% stay here again."
