"LOCATION! We typically stay in Canmore, but only had two nights so we opted for in town. This hotel is perfectly situated close to all the best restaurants. Complimentary coffee, tea and water in a cozy reception room was wonderful! I sat by the fireplace in the other space and worked for a while. Go across the street to their sister hotel for a fabulous steam room, hot tub, and fitness studio. All the staff were upbeat and helpful. The best of Banff!"

"We loved our stay in this hotel. Checking in and out were seamless, and it was right smack in the centre of all the downtown action. We got a quiet room away from the elevators and ice machine (upon request). Our dog loved the bed, food bowl, and toy the staff provided for him."

"Very nice clean room..staff very friendly. "The Prowl restaurant is very good! Would not hesitate to book again!"

"Old hotel!! Supper over priced!!! Never come back again here"

"Great location. Walking distance to shops. No laundromat but everything else was great."

"Honestly, the pictures do not look anything like the room we had not to mention I booked on Expedia, not thinking when I got to the resort that there would be extra fees that I had to pay, and when I booked, they did not say that I would have to pay for parking extra all it said was that there was parking on site not that you had to pay for it and the resort fees you would think that’s included in the Expedia price seeing as the room was over $600."

"This is a beautiful hotel and the spa onsite was delightful. Overall good experience. One thing to keep in mind is you have to go outside to get to some of the rooms, which may not be ideal at certain times of the year."

"The website material and pictures suggested that all rooms had a balcony and view of Banff and the valley below. Unfortunately that is not the case. Our room looked over the parking lot. The restaurant is over rated and overpriced."

"Loved our stay. Comfortable and great location :)"
