"Within Banff proper city, but a bit of a walk into downtown - less traffic, but not near any shopping. Boutique hotel, very charming, catering to couples, with a woody's motif. The complimentary smores are a nice touch and decent breakfast offering."

"I believe your experience will not be the same if you dont stay at Fairmont Banff. The view from our room was worth it alone. Fantastic service. Easy walk or bus to town. Would recommend signing up for tours in advance. Better to join tours rather than renting a car and doing on your own. We also arranged a private tour which is a great option as well. Cant imagine any rating less than a 5!"

"Everything was perfect except the room we got were at the basement floor. This could be depressing for some on their vacation, and in my opinion, should have been mentioned clearly in the description."
