"Lovely stay at the stables. They have been converted to a high standard and were very comfortable for our family with two small children. It was great that there was a stair gate in the top bedroom as there isn’t a door. Had a nice meal at the local pub and in easy reach by car of local visiting sites. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and let us wander around their lovely garden. Would recommend. "

"very close to the beach, just over the road, its better less stony if you walk about 10 mins to the right, about 5 min walk to reception, lodge is located in a quiet park of the park, I always take a tv as my son is socially anxious, and didnt leave the lodge at all, until we left, I felt it would of been useful to have a tv in the double room, as my son took over the only tv, with his xbox, and i got sent to my room, to watch tv, it was nice having the decking outside, could do with outdoor...

We are a couple and a dog so the set-up worked perfectly, but we understand some of the thoughts around having to go through the master bedroom to get to the bathroom. "Lovely place right in the heart off it all, no need to have a car. Parking is first come first serve, but we got a space, property clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. "Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel - was visiting for a wedding and had an incredibly comfortable stay. The spa was a lovely touch and we used it before heading home. I'd say the food was hit or miss. I had some really lovely food and also some very disappointing food. The breakfast in particular was very disappointing."

Staff on the whole were amazing - the service was a bit intermittent at times, but it was a busy weekend for them so totally understand how difficult it is to get the resource right. Really appreciated the homey, peaceful atmosphere.
