Baveno is fairly quiet which we enjoyed. If you wanted a busier place with more bars etc then Stresa is the place to go. Baveno is a lovely place though. Very relaxing

The property is spotless. The view from the room was special. Breakfast was everything you needed, well presented and tasty, with good gluten free options available without having to ask. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again.

The Carrefour supermarket is not easy to find should you require supplies. Pharmacy is within easy walking distance as well as another supermarket. A number of the restaurants although good offered similar fair , nearby Stresa offered more choice.

Great place as it was authentic and didn’t have many typical tourists. Excellent dining options but if you want shopping this is not the area for you. It is best for those who enjoy leisurely activities by the lake or who like dining in restaurants.

Nice town, reasonable traffic-wise, very handy ferry terminal. Restaurant Posta has delicious food and good value wine list. Buses and train station easy to get to.
