"The TV remote was difficult to figure out on my own.
The breakfast buffet lacked healthy choices. No healthy dry cereals and no oatmeal. Limited fruit selection and no nuts. Hot water was lukewarm."
"Lovely place to stay! The owners are fabulous and the surroundings (working vineyard & farm) are beautiful. Mine was only a one night stay but would love to revisit when I have more time. Hi speed internet worked great. Bed was amazingly comfortable & there was a kitchenette with table & chairs. Huge closet, full size fridge & microwave. The front porch is a delight. I was on a fast trip to look for horses in Bath, NC. It was well worth the 40 minute drive. Would have loved to ride the free ferry back but the departure times didn’t work for me. Bring your own snacks! There isn’t a whole lot as far as restaurants in a 15 minute radius that were open on a Sunday night. Local gas station in Aurora was nice & I was able to fill my tank as well. 5 stars, would love to visit again!!!"
"My stay was adequate if not slightly overpriced, but I was traveling alone and needed a place to stay. I was given an accessible room which was fine but I could smell cigarette smoke. Unsure if that came from smokers outside or in the room next to me but it was pretty consistent. Everything else was sufficient. "
"Room looked fine in terms of flooring, furniture , chair and bed linens. Unfortunately as I sat and relaxed I kept seeing little bugs creep out. Then saw bugs creeping out from under the bed frame. Then saw roach run across side of the mattress. Even though it was 12:40 AM. I packed up and left. I had layed a bath towel at the hallway door to keep out the light. When I removed it to leave found a bug under it from coming from the hallway. BEFORE getting in my car, turned everything out, shook & inspected before rebagging everything in plastic bags before putting in my car. YIKES!!!"
"Location is very close to a cute town. Cabin was clean. However, property should really let guests know that pillows, blankets, sheets & towels are not given to you. We had to buy towels from Walmart to shower. Bathroom door really didn't close, sliding door required both hands to get mostly closed. Bathroom only contained a toliet & stand up shower, not enough room to use as a changing room. Definitely does not sleep 4 as noted for capacity. Picture of room is not even close to the size of the room we were in. Pull out couch is twin sized."
