"I recently stayed at the Catamaran Resort in San Diego and had a pleasant but mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the private beach access is a wonderful perk that we truly enjoyed. While we had a good time overall, I found the resort to be a bit overpriced for the level of service provided. The property and guest rooms are starting to show their age and could definitely use some updates to justify the premium price point....
