"We were talking about how California residents are so friendly because random people would come up to us and start chatting- until I checked in here. The girl at the front desk seemed to loathe her job. The property and room were nice. The first night we were going to sleep and someone opened our door and said the worker just checked her into that room. It was almost 10 pm. Then at 10:30, dozing off, the front desk called to tell me they had a glotch in the system and it booked both of us in the same room and I'd need to get my key card activated in the morning. The worker the next day told me the previous worker typed the wrong room number in for the other guest. The bed and pillows were comfortable but the first day we had a wolf spider in our room and after I woke up the first morning I had a spider on my arm. The breakfast was different each day which was nice but one morning I found moldy bread and I told the attendant and she just kept all the bread that was touching it in the box. We stayed 4 nights and I put the maid card out for new towels and a room clean and came back to no towels or clean room. I had to call and request my room be cleaned the next day. Other than those issues, it was a good room, pretty Grounds, and good location. Besides being across from the fire station."

"I’m not easily pleased or impressed when it comes hotels but this hotel and staff were wonderful! First the young lady who checked us in was very sweet. We were there for a basketball tournament for a few days and she gave my daughter a little snack pack for each day. The rooms were clean and I loved the outdoor area. It had a free laundry, pool, jacuzzi, basketball court, and bbq pits with seating areas. It was so peaceful sitting out there and just relaxing. They also offered free breakfast daily and free dinner on specific days which was nice. I will be booking with them again in the future."

"I had an excellent stay at Ayres Suites Mission Viejo - Lake Forest. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed during my stay. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything necessary for a relaxing visit. The beds were very comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail throughout the property. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of options and was a wonderful way to start each morning. The location is convenient, with easy access to local restaurants, shopping, and nearby attractions. Overall, Ayres Suites exceeded my expectations and provided outstanding value. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Mission Viejo or Lake Forest area."

"Great location for family visit. Friendly helpful front desk staff. It was quiet! Clean room & appreciated the kitchen. Did not like paying for parking. Water faucets could be tightened as too much water is being wasted, in the shower especially. Bathroom air vent needs a serious cleaning. My stay was great."
