We were placed in a room immediately siding onto construction, woke up at 7:45 to a ton of noise right outside our room and immediately behind the wall our beds were pushed up against. Staff were very unhelpful, one staff member was kind enough to apologize, but then explained that this room wasnt supposed to be rented due to noise, but they had opened it up as the hotel started to fill up. "Our plane was delayed and we didn’t arrive in Winnipeg until 3AM a quick call to the front desk and a very nice friendly driver showed up in 10 minutes in a warm shuttle. He dropped us off at the hotel. The front desk clerk was equally as friendly. We were in our room before 3:30 We could not ask for any better service "

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sketchy looking guests. Huge problem was no coffee in the morning until 8am when restaurant opened. I was gone by then. And no microwave so I couldn't even bring my own coffee the night before and warm it up. Even one of those lame little coffee makers would have got them another star"

On arrival day there was a a water main break and the water park was closed and this was clearly wreaking havoc on their days, it was tense and managers were yelling at staff. "We had a short wait for the shuttle from the airport. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Room was spotless. Breakfast was absolutely amazing- great selection, fresh, really nice staff and very well maintained. Unfortunately, the only drawback- the pool was down for renovations. Since that was a key reason for choosing the Holiday Inn Express it was “a bummer”. In all other areas great place to stay. "
