The hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were large, clean and bed comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was very hot (thermostat read 30 degrees). The details on the listing said the rooms were air conditioned. When we inquired at the front desk we were told that the air conditioning only worked ...

Haidian
Haidian is well liked for its museums and monuments. If you're hoping to get in some sightseeing, Summer Palace and Fragrant Hills Park are top spots, and you can jump on the metro at Xibeiwang Station or Malianwa Station to get around.
