"We had a great time. Staff were great (mostly) and really helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent, my wife and I loved every dish. The bar was well stocked with some great (and favourite) scotch so that was a bonus. We arrived Friday and left Sunday and on the Saturday we had a late lunch which was lovely, sat outside in the garden with the local church in view. "Absolutely revolting. The corridor smelt of urine. The amount of cobwebs in the room was a joke. There was several millimetres of dust on the lampshade, the paint was peeling off the walls in large patches, the cheap flat pack furniture was all chipped which really stood out as it was all dark grey/black and the paint in the bathroom had given up and gone home. "A great little hotel, the whole property including the staff were very warm and inviting. It was relaxing and you’re made to feel like a local. The food was delicious and if you want a snack I would highly recommend the pickled onion rings with warm honey…. Amazing!!"

"We had a ground floor room which was close to kitchen and breakfast room which was noisy for the golfers who had requested earlier breakfast times. Staff convivial and friendly. Breakfast good and plenty of it - Lincolnshire sausage excellent. Beware carparking access a little tricky to negotiate. Easy access to local shops and golf course! "
