Overall I find the hotel great value for the price. Facility is excellent, the staff are well trained. Then my complaint is the complimentary breakfast. The food there is below average, and I'd rather want to see the upgrade on continental menu and bakery.

Property is pretty dated and it does feel that they find it tough to maintain one of the usp’s - kitchenette. We had to move rooms because of ceiling leakage in the first unit we checked in and even in the second one the refrigerator was leaking. The loony carpets look worn out with a distinct odour which they try to keep out with AC vents working overtime. The restaurant and the staff is great which kept our experience sane. Lots of room to improve!

Great place in whitefields!

We have stayed in the chain in Pune and the WF place was equally good if not excellent. The suite with two bedrooms was well maintained and extremely comfortable. Oakwood is known for premier and luxurious living. The breakfast spread was great and we had a good time for our one night stay on a long road trip. The only letdown was a blocked chimney next doors and we were impacted by a stench of onions being fried - a stench that pervaded us and left us listless for a couple of hours

Adding a board visible to the approaching traffic will help to enter the right gate. Three times in our 6 days stay, uber drivers missed and took some time to figure out the right entry.

The property is very well managed, security and staff are good, and the rooms were kept clean. Their response to address any issue was pretty good as well. They also have an inhouse restaurant which was good and the staff there was also very helpful. This property is very conveniently located next to the mall and there is a grocery store within the mall which is very convenient if you plan to cook in your apartment. One thing I would like the management to considered is to provide a flexible check-in time. I ended up paying for 1 extra day since we came in early and there was no way we would wait till 2PM (standard check-in time) to do a regular check-in. We were extremely exhausted and severely jet lagged after nearly 24 hours of travelling. If I had an option of early check-in without paying anything extra, it would have been perfect. The advantage of providing early check-in would be that these travelers when they depart, depart around 10/11 PM which the property would have already charged the room for the last day. That should balance everything out (early check-in and early check-out). Anyway, hopefully this will get addressed by the time we make the next trip in the coming few months. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience staying at Oakwood Residences Bengaluru. I highly recommend travelers going to Bengaluru to consider Oakwood Residences for their next trip.

Business trip to Bangalore

Overall the stay was good. Amazing sized rooms and oakleaf restaurant has a good selection of western food eg not just chicken!! Sadly i had a balcony on the top floor. Hundreds of flitting ants and beetles congregated on the balcony and despite the doors being shut they were able to climb under the door and fly into the room... one night i counted 50! Housekeeping came in to Clean up but left the balcony doors open whilst doing so letting mozzies in as well... not happy. Also... housekeeping failed to give me any hand towels on 3 occasions... they must have realised this when cleaning the room. I was on shift work getting back at 11pm so did not have the time to continually call housekeeping. Just the small things but they do Make the difference. Never get a balcony on the top floor!!

The hotel staff was very good, but they missed some local phones calls and had to call me at the airport for payment. They even remembered me and knew which room I was in. The AC didn't seem to work the first full night I had there, so I didn't get much sleep that night. The toilet seats were offer very bad. It was like sitting on a 3 inch pipe, but at least I had a seat. It hurt to site down and use it, but better than what was available at the company I was working at. The restaurant was great and had a nice selection of foods. The wait staff remembered my name and was very friendly. The work out room was very nice, I used it as much as I could. I enjoyed the pool also. Some of the polished stone around the pool was slippery when getting out of the pool. Over all it is a great place to stay and having the Mall in the same building was great also.

Whitefields place of choice

The only place to stay if you need to be in Whitefields - personal or business. The overall experience was great at a fantastic price. What stood out is the attention to detail for every little point which others take for granted. Highly recommended.
