"The owner was great, very energetic, and gave us recommendations on bath houses and restaurants without us even having to ask. The room was larger than expected, and we were provided with 3 futon each stacked to give us a much nicer sleeping experience. Note: There isn't a bath/shower available in the guest house itself, but being in Beppu you can easily walk to a nearby bathhouse."

"The staff is very nice and the location is lovely. I got a free gift (a small pouch) when I checked in. My room was spacious and had a kotatsu which I really appreciated because it got suddenly cold outside. I also was able to enjoy two really beautiful and relaxing outdoor private baths! Breakfast had an amazing view and was delicious. They even gave me a hot pack when I checked out because it was cold outside. I really like the area and I’ll definitely visit again. "
