We were moved to Scandic Byeparken because of the hotel staff strike. Very cramped room. Reception staff unsmiling and not terribly helpful. Morning staff much better - friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is first-rate. the hotel is very well situated.

Sigurds gate 8
Very nice place. Small, but that was expected. Expensive, but that's Norway. Jonas was very responsive. Loved the area. Easy walk to the cruise port.

Dragesmauet Apartments
Apartment is very nice and as described. Communication with the owners is spotty at best. Even following the directions in the guest guide only resulted in one response to one question. When I enquired about an item left behind, there was no response at all.

Hotel Norge by Scandic
Unfortunately a strike was on at the hotels in Norway. Remains Staff did a wonderful job to keep the hotel operating a reduced capability. Breakfast offering greatly reduced with only very small reduction in cost. No room cleaning during our stay but no reduction in room rates. Again great job by ...
