"Incredible location. There’s a reason this hotel has continued to thrive after decades in downtown Chicago. The property itself is old and the rooms could use a refresh—but considering the Sheraton has 1000+ guest rooms and the place was BUSY—I think that the room rate is an incredible value. Amazing staff, cool restaurants onsite, perfect location and incredible views of the river and downtown architecture. The lobby was bustling at all hours but was well staffed and managed. "Great location, beautiful hotel, easy check in and out. The bed linens were horrible; flat sheet used instead of a fitted, on top of it was another flat sheet, then a thin blanket, on top of the blanket was another flat sheet (very messy). There were no extra blankets in closet, when I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn’t work. Also, housekeeping didn’t check on the room while we’re were out which was annoying because those bed linens were a disaster."

"Hyatt was ok. I initially booked after my flight got cancelled, and I saw they had an indoor pool. The pool was small, the water was cold and you couldn’t even use the pool unless you didn’t mind children’s swimming lessons ,according to the sign, take place every night until 8pm, which is when the pool closes. On the listing, it showed breakfast included, but it’s included if you pay for it. The room was ok. The bed was comfortable."

"Nice for a simple weekend get-away. The staff were nice. They charge a lot of extra expenses such as $100/daily incidental fee, $25 breakfast, and expensive drinks. It’s not a deal breaker but I’d rather spend money at surrounding restaurants than on the basics at this hotel. It’s not a far walk from Navy Pier but in general Chicago will require a lot of walking. The bell-man was extremely polite and helpful-I didn’t catch his name but he was greatly appreciated. "The hotel is nicely located near the Roosevelt station, given access to the L trains and lots of buses, regarding the hotel, nothing remarkable really, what you expect of a Hilton Garden Inn, clean rooms, good space. Price is really high for what it offers outside of the location only. Breakfast options in the hotel and nearby are great! Staff is good and very receptive. Good option if you want to expend an extra for convenience."

"The location is ideal for our stop on our road trip. The vibe of the hotel was very cool- my teenagers loved it. We stayed in a private quad which served our needs for a comfy bed and bathroom. The price was perfect and overall the hotel exceeded our expectations."
