"Our stay at Gaia Hotel & Reserve was wonderful, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding level of service.
From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness of the entire staff. You can tell that providing exceptional service is part of the culture of this hotel. Everyone made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease throughout our stay.
A few people especially stood out: Chris at the front desk and...
"Construction work was going on , we were not notified, only one restaurant open, and only one bar as well. Limited choices of food. Room service charged $25, which is high considering no choice of restaurants. Taxi to town was $40. It was mentioned that this is an adult only resort. In low season we saw many families. Avoid in low season. Not worth the price tag. Found lots of other similar priorities in the area with cheaper price tag."
"It was our first time in Costa Rica, I randomly chose the Ecoteca, and it looks like I got lucky. The property located almost in the Emanuel Antonio national park and also it's very close to the beach, like 5 min drive -20 min walk. Our rooms were very clean and the design of the rooms is so natural. All of the beds are made from real wood,, the tables etc. Once we went to grab some lunch at the pool cafe La Poza we ran into monkeys, sherengas(capibara cousins ). We saw a family of raccoons ,...
"Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea.
The location...
"I don't even know where to start. This place was PERFECTION! The staff in the entire hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, I feel that they are all our friends now. The food at the restaurant is amazing, people come visit from outside the hotel just to dine at the restaurant. The pools are sooo nice, and that is a highlight for me because my husband hates getting into pools, I literally had never seen him enjoy a pool the was he did in this hotel. We didn't have to share it with other...
"This place is fantastic. The location is great: right on the road to Manuel Antonio, close to Quepos, in a pretty secluded forest area. The staff (mainly one guy) is super helpful and friendly, and each room is essentially a cabin surrounded by trees. The pool is big and deep and open pretty much whenever you want to swim, and the breakfast is big and filling with juice and coffee. Right around our cabin we saw iguanas and hummingbirds and rainbow parrots flying overhead each morning. As long as...
